3. CURRENCY FLUCTUATION PROTECTION

4. VISA, IMMIGRATION & DOCUMENTATION

4.1 The customer is solely responsible for obtaining valid passport, visa, transit visa, permits, vaccinations, and all required travel documentation. 4.2 The Company acts only as a facilitator and does not guarantee visa approval. 4.3 Visa rejection, delay, or denial shall not be grounds for refund unless refund is received from the supplier. 4.4 No refund shall be granted for incomplete documentation, immigration refusal, deportation, or denial of boarding.

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation charges shall apply on the total tour cost (unless stricter supplier penalties apply):

  • 30 days or more before departure – Advance forfeited

5.1 Flights, cruises, peak season bookings, visas, insurance, promotional fares, and special events may be 100% non-refundable irrespective of cancellation date. 5.2 Supplier cancellation policies shall override this policy wherever stricter.

6. REFUND POLICY

6.1 Refunds shall be processed only after receipt of funds from respective suppliers. 6.2 Processing time may range between 15–45 working days depending on supplier and banking timelines. 6.3 Refunds shall be made strictly to the original mode of payment. 6.4 All gateway charges, forex charges, SWIFT charges, banking fees, and administrative charges are strictly non-refundable. 6.5 No interest shall be payable on delayed refunds.

  • Border closures
  • Extreme weather
  • Political instability

Refunds, if any, shall strictly depend on supplier policies. No compensation shall be payable.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 The Company’s total liability under any circumstance shall be strictly limited to the total service fees paid to the Company for the specific booking. 8.2 The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of baggage
  • Missed flights
  • Overbooking
  • Service deficiencies
  • Accidents
  • Personal injury
  • Death
  • Theft
  • Delay
  • Airline schedule changes
  • Hotel downgrades

Such matters fall under the responsibility of respective service providers.

9. THIRD-PARTY DISCLAIMER

The Company acts solely as an intermediary between the customer and independent third-party suppliers including airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transport operators, and ground handlers. The Company shall not be responsible for acts, omissions, defaults, negligence, insolvency, or service deficiencies of such third-party suppliers.

10. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for certain destinations. Failure to obtain adequate insurance shall be solely at the customer’s risk.

11. CONDUCT & TERMINATION

11.1 The Company reserves the right to terminate services without refund if the customer:

  • Engages in unlawful conduct
  • Causes nuisance or disturbance
  • Violates local laws
  • Endangers safety of others

11.2 Any penalties, fines, or damages arising from customer misconduct shall be borne solely by the customer.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, legal expenses, or proceedings arising from:

  • Customer negligence

Any chargeback, reversal, or unauthorized payment dispute raised without prior written communication shall be treated as breach of contract. The Company reserves the right to initiate appropriate legal proceedings and recover legal costs.

14. COMPLAINTS & CLAIMS

Any complaint must be reported immediately during travel and confirmed in writing within 14 days of completion of services. Failure to do so shall constitute waiver of any claim.

15. SEVERABILITY

If any clause is declared invalid by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall remain fully enforceable.

16. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.

17. BINDING ACCEPTANCE

By making payment, signing the quotation, or confirming booking via email or WhatsApp, the customer irrevocably confirms:

  • They have read these Terms & Conditions
  • They understand them fully
  • They agree to be legally bound

18. ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFORMATION - HOTELS AND CABS

Check the property's check-in, check-out, occupancy, child and extra-bed policies before booking. Early check-in, late check-out, views, adjoining rooms and bedding preferences are requests unless specifically confirmed. Carry the required identification for all guests. For cabs and transfers, check the vehicle category, route, included duration or kilometres, tolls, parking, permits, driver allowance and taxes in your quotation. Extra time, distance or route changes may be charged at agreed rates. Share accurate pickup details and respect passenger and luggage limits.

19. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - FLIGHTS AND MANDATORY RIGHTS

Airline baggage, meals, seats, changes, cancellation and no-show conditions depend on the fare purchased. Check these before ticketing and ensure names match the accepted travel document. Airline refunds and other regulated services remain subject to applicable passenger protections and mandatory deadlines. The general 15–45 working-day supplier period does not override a shorter mandatory deadline. Read sections 1–17 subject to mandatory law. Nothing in these terms removes non-excludable consumer rights, statutory complaint periods, lawful payment-dispute rights or access to a competent consumer forum. Prasthan remains responsible for its own agreed services and obligations. If a supplied clause conflicts with a mandatory requirement, that requirement prevails.

20. CONTACT AND WEBSITE UPDATES

Use the phone contact on our Contact Us page for urgent travel assistance. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for the cancellation schedule and refund process. A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

Before you go.

View all FAQs →
How do I request a quotation?

Use the enquiry form or email sales@prasthan.in with your destination, dates, number and ages of travellers, departure city, budget and preferences. Our team will contact you to clarify the plan and prepare available options.

Is my booking confirmed when I submit an enquiry?

An enquiry starts the conversation. Confirmation is issued in writing for services secured after the agreed payment. Availability and prices may change until confirmation.

What should I check before paying?

Check names, dates, room or vehicle category, inclusions, exclusions, taxes, total price, deadlines and cancellation conditions. Ask for written clarification if anything is unclear.

How much advance is required?

Your quotation states the actual advance. Holiday bookings ordinarily require 30%–50%; flights and non-refundable services may require full payment. The usual balance deadline is 14 days before departure, unless your quotation says otherwise.

How can I pay safely?

Use the official payment route confirmed by Prasthan and obtain a receipt. Verify unexpected changes to bank details using a known contact. Never share banking passwords, PINs, CVVs or OTPs.
