• By Road: Buses and taxis are available from major towns like Haridwar and Rishikesh.

• By Helicopter: Helicopter services are available for a quicker journey, covering all four shrines in about 2-3 days

The ideal time for the Char Dham Yatra is from May to October, as the shrines are usually closed during the winter months due to heavy snowfall. However, it is advisable to avoid the monsoon season due to the risk of landslides.
